Rumpus Room is an artist-led initiative based in Govanhill, Glasgow, dedicated to collaborative art practice with children and young people. Founded by artists Catrin Jeans, Nadia Rossi, and Rachel Walker, the project focuses on engaging young people in meaningful ways through art and social action projects. The studio offers a free space for children, young people, and their families to host their own creative projects, promoting diversity and inclusivity within the community (Seinglasgow) (Glasgow Connected Arts Network).
Rumpus Room hosts a variety of events and workshops, ranging from art exhibitions to social action initiatives, aiming to support those who may face barriers to accessing arts opportunities. It operates from a studio on Langside Lane and is involved in numerous collaborative efforts with other community projects and artists (Seinglasgow) (Glasgow Connected Arts Network).
